Pope Jr Basketball Parents,

 

We have secured the gym for our annual Free Throw Shoot-A-Thon on Friday January 4th.  This year we are bringing all grades from the program together, at the same time, into the new gym for this fun event.  There will be music and pizza provided, here is what parents need to do in advance:

Save the date! 

Have your players practice their free throws!  Bragging rights and game winning shots are priceless

Use the attached form to generate donations from family and friends over the holidays

 

For new parents, here is how the event works:

Each player shoots 100 free throws, they can shoot all at once or rotate through the group until they all shoot 100

Teammates track how many shots were made on a paper form

The player who collects the most $$$ from each grade (boys and girls) will receive a gift card at the EOY banquet

Our program target is to generate $100 per player – all funds go directly toward program needs

If you have other plans and cannot make it, your player can still make it up at a later date
